Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using AstroRishta, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
AstroRishta is a matrimonial platform for adults aged 18 and above seeking marriage. You must provide accurate information and have legal capacity to enter agreements.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, keeping profile information truthful, and using the service respectfully. Accounts may not be shared or sold.
4. Profiles & content
You retain rights to content you upload but grant AstroRishta a license to host and display it for matching and safety. Do not upload illegal, abusive, or copyrighted material without permission.
5. Verification
Identity verification (ID + live face match) may be required for a Verified badge. Soft matching may accept minor differences common on ID photos. Providing fake documents is grounds for permanent suspension.
6. Matching & astrology
Preference and astrology scores are informational tools to help discovery. They do not guarantee marriage outcomes, compatibility in real life, or any specific result.
7. Tokens & features
Members currently receive free signup tokens for interests, chat, calls, and boosts. Token costs and availability may change. Unused tokens have no cash value unless required by law.
8. Communication rules
Contact details must remain private within the app by default. Harassment, spam, solicitation for money, or sharing others’ private data is prohibited.
9. Family features
Family invites should only be sent to real guardians/parents with consent. Misuse of family tools to pressure or impersonate others is not allowed.
10. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail verification authenticity checks, or harm other members. You may request deletion via Settings or support.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect match quality, or that every profile is authentic despite verification efforts.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AstroRishta is not liable for offline meetings, third-party actions, or indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice.
