Privacy at a glance
Hidden contacts
Phone numbers and emails are never shown on profiles. Communication stays inside AstroRishta chat and calls.
Private profile mode
Limit discovery while remaining visible to accepted interests and family-approved matches.

We review risky behavior patterns and provide reporting tools. Suspicious accounts are checked by trust staff.
Data you control
Update preferences, photos, and privacy settings anytime. Request account deletion from Settings or support.
Full policy
Information we collect
Account data (name, email/mobile), profile details (education, preferences, photos), verification images (ID and selfie) for matching authenticity, and usage data needed to run chat, calls, and safety systems.
How we use information
To create matches (including astrology scores from date of birth), verify identity, enable messaging and family features, improve product quality, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests.
Verification images
ID and selfie images are used for face comparison and trust review. Soft matching may accept minor differences common on ID photos. These images are not displayed publicly as gallery content.
Astrology & DOB
Date of birth is used to derive zodiac for compatibility displays. We do not sell zodiac or DOB data to advertisers.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with infrastructure providers (hosting, auth, analytics) under contracts, or when required by law or to protect members from harm.
Cookies & sessions
We use essential cookies/sessions to keep you logged in and secure. You can clear browser data; some features may require re-login.
Retention
We retain account data while your account is active. After deletion requests, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period except where law requires retention (e.g. fraud records).
Your rights
Access and update your profile, adjust privacy controls, export key data on request where feasible, and delete your account. Contact support@astrorishta.com for privacy requests.
Children
AstroRishta is not for anyone under 18. Accounts found to misrepresent age are removed.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy. Significant changes may be notified in-app or by email.
